Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Meets Somali Counterpart

HE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi met with HE Somalia's State Minister for Foreign Affairs Abdulkadir Ahmed-Kheir, on the sidelines of the 44th Session of the OIC Foreign Ministers being held in Abidjan.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations and ways of advancing them as well as a number of issues of common concern.
HE the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs updated Somalia's State Minister for Foreign Affairs on the latest developments with regards to the siege imposed by some OIC member states on the State of Qatar, and the resulting humanitarian and social damages and impact on the security and stability of the region.
He stressed that imposing unilateral measures against the State of Qatar is against the Charter of the United Nations and a flagrant violation of international law and human rights.
