HE Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani on Wednesday met in Washington with HE Nancy Pelosi, minority leader of the United States House of Representatives.

HE the foreign minister also met separately with members of the Senate and House of Representatives as well as representatives of U.S. Congress committees.

During the meetings, HE the minister briefed U.S. officials on the developments of the Gulf crisis and all the illegal measures that were taken against the State of Qatar.

HE also discussed the role of the Kuwaiti mediation and the U.S. and international efforts to solve the crisis.

HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al-Thani, secretary of HH the Emir for investment affairs, attended the meetings.
