Qatar Regrets Bahrain's Decision to Impose Entry Visa on Qatari Nationals

Geneva / Information Office / October 31

HE Qatar's Permanent Representative to the United Nations Office in Geneva Ambassador Ali Khalfan Al Mansouri expressed the regret of the State of Qatar over the decision of the Bahraini authorities to impose an entry visa on Qatari citizens, which reveals its persistence in severing ties of kinship between the Gulf families in contravention of the provisions and principles of the Islamic religion.

In a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA), HE Ambassador Al Mansouri said that these unprecedented measures in the Gulf states constitute a flagrant violation of the agreements and resolutions of the Gulf Cooperation Council.

These measures are completely contrary to the statements of officials of the siege countries not to harm the Qatari citizen when taking any steps in the context of this crisis, HE Ambassador Ali Khalfan Al Mansouri added.
