HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani met today with the Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi , who is currently visiting the State of Qatar.

During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations, means of boosting them besides a number of regional issues of common concern.

The two sides reviewed the situation in the region and expressed their concern about the escalation and problems in the region. Both sides expressed the importance of dialogue to resolve them.

The Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister also confirmed his country's readiness to enter into a dialogue between the Gulf States and Iran regarding the stability and security of the region.
