FAO Director-General Meets Ambassador of Qatar to Italy

HE Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) Dr Qu Dongyu met with HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Italy and its Permanent Representative to UN agencies in Rome Abdulaziz bin Ahmed Al Malki.
The meeting reviewed ways of cooperation between the State of Qatar and the FAO.
HE the Director-General commended the distinguished role of the State of Qatar in the work of the Organization and its continued support for its activities and programs aimed at eradicating poverty and hunger in the world.
For his part, HE the Ambassador congratulated the Director General Dr Dongyu on his election as the new Director General of the Organization.
