Qatar Participates in Meeting of Arab Expert Group on Evaluating and Updating Arab Media Action Plan

The Arab Expert Group on Evaluating and Updating the Arab Media Action Plan abroad has called for unifying the positive Arab media message addressed to international public opinion.

At the end of its meeting at the Arab League headquarters today, the Arab Expert Group called for the establishing a manual of professional standards to guide the writing of media content directed abroad.

It called on the official and private Arab media to enhance the presence of the Palestinian cause in the Arab and international media scenes in accordance with the objectives of the Arab media action plan abroad.

The meeting discussed, over two days, among other issues, a comprehensive evaluation of the Arab media action plan abroad and the programs implemented, as well as a full vision of the target audience and the mechanisms and ways to implement each program.

Qatar's delegation to the meeting was headed by its Permanent Representative to the Arab League HE Ambassador Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al Sahlawi.
