Postal Stamp Marks 30th Anniversary of Qatar-Cuba Diplomatic Relations

HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Cuba Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Derbasti took part in a celebration organized by the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on the occasion of launching a commemorative stamp to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Cuba.
The ceremony was chaired by HE Cuban Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Anayansi Rodriguez Camejo, in the presence of President of the Correos de Cuba Business Group Carlos Asencio Valerino, a number of officials from the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Information and Communication and members of the diplomatic corps accredited to Cuba.
In a speech during the ceremony, HE the Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister underlined the strong bilateral relations between Qatar and Cuba in various fields.
For his part, HE the Qatari Ambassador thanked the Cuban side for the nice initiative, stressing the strong bilateral relations between the two countries.
