The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the attack on a police station in Ghazni province, eastern Afghanistan, causing deaths of security forces and injuring others.

In a statement today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm stance rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of motives and reasons.

The Ministry expressed the condolences of the State of Qatar to the victims' families, the government and people of Afghanistan, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
