The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the attack on a military patrol in central Mali which resulted on the killing of five soldiers.

In a statement issued today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatars firm stance of rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of motives and reasons.

The statement expressed the condolences of the State of Qatar to the victims families, the governments and people of Mali.
