The State of Qatar expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the attacks on villages in northwestern Nigeria, which killed dozens of people.

In a statement issued Monday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar's firm stance rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of their motives and reasons.

The statement expressed Qatar's condolences to the families of the victims and to the government and people of Nigeria.
