The State of Qatar voiced its strong condemnation and denunciation of the bombing, which occurred on the outskirts of the Somali capital Mogadishu and resulted in deaths and injuries.

In a statement on Monday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the firm position of the State of Qatar on rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of motives and reasons.

The statement expressed the State of Qatar's condolences to the families of the victims and the government and people of Somalia, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
