The State of Qatar has voiced strong condemnation and denunciation of the explosion which targeted a truck carrying civilians in Afghanistan's southern Kandahar province, leaving deaths and injuries.

In a statement on Monday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the firm position of the State of Qatar on rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of motives and reasons.

The Ministry expressed the condolences of the State of Qatar to the families of the victims, and the government and people of Afghanistan, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
