The State of Qatar expresses its solidarity with the Afghan people in the face of the earthquake disaster that struck the west of the country, causing hundreds of deaths and injuries. 

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stresses that Qatar stands with the victims of the earthquake and is fully prepared to provide necessary assistance for the recovery from its effects.

The Ministry also expresses the condolences of the State of Qatar to the families of the victims and its wishes for a speedy recovery for the wounded, and hopes in the search for the missing.
