The State of Qatar expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of an attack on a security point in northeastern Iraq, and an explosion in the north of the country, which resulted in two deaths and injuries.

In a statement on Friday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm stance towards rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of the motives and reasons.

The statement expressed the condolences of the State of Qatar to the families of the victims, the government, and people of Iraq, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
