The State of Qatar has expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the explosion that occurred in the Somali capital, Mogadishu, and left two people killed and one wounded.

In a statement on Monday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm stance on rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of motives and causes.

The statement expressed the State of Qatar's condolences to the families of victims as well as the government and people of Somalia, wishing the wounded a speedy recovery.
