The State of Qatar expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the shooting incident that targeted civilians in Ghazni province in southeastern Afghanistan, which led to a number of deaths and injuries.

In a statement issued Thursday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm stance on rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of the motives and causes.

The statement also expressed the condolences of the State of Qatar to the families of the victims and to the government and people of Afghanistan, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
