The State of Qatar condemns in the strongest terms the attack on the entrance gate of the General Directorate of Security of the Ministry of Interior in the brotherly Republic of Türkiye, which resulted in minor injuries to two security personnel.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterates Qatar’s firm position on rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of the motives and reasons.

The Ministry also reaffirms the full solidarity of the State of Qatar with the government and people of Türkiye in the face of terrorism, and its full support for all measures taken to maintain security and stability.

The Ministry expresses the State of Qatar’s wishes of a speedy recovery for the injured.
