Qatar Donates Medical Devices to Costa Rica

The State of Qatar presented a donation to the Government of the Republic of Costa Rica, including seven artificial respirators and four modern electrocardiogram devices at a value of $250,000 to strengthen the medical sector in confronting the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

The medical devices were delivered by the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Costa Rica.

HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Costa Rica Rodolfo Solano Quiros thanked the State of Qatar during a telephone conversation with HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Costa Rica Dr. Khamis bin Rashid Al Kaabi.

During the call, His Excellency praised the State of Qatar's quick and supportive response to his country request to help in facing the health crisis it is experiencing as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic.
