HE Caretaker Prime Minister of the Republic of Lebanon Dr. Hassan Diab met Tuesday with HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani.

During the meeting, HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed the condolences of the government and the people of the State of Qatar on the victims of the explosion in Beirut port, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.

HE Caretaker Prime Minister of Lebanon expressed his gratitude and appreciation to HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani for the State of Qatar's solidarity and continuous support for Lebanon in all crises.

During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral cooperation relations as well as the developments in Lebanon, and Qatari assistance to support brothers in Lebanon after the explosion that occurred in Beirut port, in addition to issues of common concern.
