Her Excellency Mrs. Lulwa bint Rashid Al-Khater, Assistant Foreign Minister and Official Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, met with His Excellency Mr. Alessandro Prunes, Ambassador of the Italian Republic to the State of Qatar, and Her Excellency Ms. Vittorio Sandali, Ambassador of the Italian Republic to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.

During the meeting, a bilateral cooperation between the two countries was reviewed, and ways of cooperating for providing joint humanitarian aid to Afghanistan were discussed, in addition the situation of the Afghan students who completed their studies in Qatar and Italy, and the possibility of expanding scholarship programs for the Afghan students.

The ambassador of the Italian Republic to the State of Qatar, has commended the efforts of Qatar in providing humanitarian assistance to Afghanistan.
