HE Assistant Foreign Minister and Official Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Lulwa bint Rashid Al-Khater met with HE the Minister of Migration and Asylum of the Hellenic Republic Notis Mitarachi.

During the meeting relations of bilateral cooperation between the two countries as well as regional and international issues were discussed.

Issues of migrants, migration challenges, the situation in Afghanistan and difficulties pertaining to providing relief materials to the Afghani people also featured in the talks.

The Greek side expressed appreciation for the efforts of the State of Qatar in providing humanitarian aid to Afghanistan, stressing the importance of international cooperation to overcome the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan.
