HE Chairman of Qatar Committee for Reconstruction of Gaza Ambassador Mohammed Al Emadi said that the committee will start Thursday, in cooperation with the Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD), the disbursement of May batch of cash assistance to needy families in the Gaza Strip.
In a statement Wednesday, HE Ambassador Al Emadi said that the cash assistance will be provided to about 100,000 needy families in the governorates of the Strip, at a rate of USD100 per family.
HE pointed out that the distribution process will take place through the United Nations at the distribution centers identified in the governorates of the Gaza Strip, which are 300 centers and shops.
The State of Qatar disburses a monthly humanitarian grant in support of the brotherly Palestinian families in the Gaza Strip, who are suffering from difficult economic and living conditions caused by the Israeli blockade.
