Doha/Information Office/ 22 December 2015/ HE Foreign Minister Dr Khalid bin Mohamed Al Attiyah received a telephone call from the Kingdom of Bahrain's Foreign Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohamed Al-Khalifa. During the phone call, the Bahraini Foreign Minister expressed Bahrain's concern over the abduction of a number of Qatari citizens in Iraq, stressing his country's support for Qatar in its measures taken to secure their release. HE Al Attiyah expressed his appreciation for the Kingdom of Bahrain's support, stressing the depth of sincere brotherhood between the two countries and their peoples. He stressed that the government is following the issue closely and that contacts at all levels are taking place for the release of the abductees as soon as possible.
