Doha/Information Office/ 18 August 2016/ The State of Qatar has strongly condemned and denounced the two bombings that targeted the police headquarters in the eastern Turkish cites of Elazig and Van , which resulted in dozens of deaths and injuries . In a statement today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the State of Qatar strongly condemns these heinous criminal acts aimed at destabilizing security and stability, and it affirms its full solidarity with the brotherly Republic of Turkey in all actions and measures it takes to counter these criminal acts and to maintain the security and stability of the country. The Ministry's statement reiterates Qatar firm stance that rejects violence and terrorism in all their forms and manifestations, and whatever motives and causes. The statement also expressed sincere condolences to the Turkish government, its people and to the families of the victims who were killed by these heinous crime, and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
