New York/Information Office/18 September 2016/ HE Qatar's Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani met on Sunday with United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator Stephen O'Brien, on the sidelines of 71st Session of the UN General Assembly in New York. During the meeting, they discussed the humanitarian situation in Syria, and in regional conflict zones. O'Brien praised the diplomatic role of the State of Qatar in resolving disputes by peaceful means.
