The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the two bombings that occurred in Iraq which resulted in the death and injury of several people.

In a statement today, the Foreign Ministry reiterated Qatar's firm stance rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of its source, whatever motives and reasons, and its rejection of all criminal acts that terrorize innocent people and contravene humanitarian values and principles.

The statement expressed Qatar's condolences to the families of the victims and to the brotherly Government and people of Iraq, wishing the injured speedy recovery.
