Korean Version of Qatari Constitution Unveiled

A Korean edition of the Qatari constitution was unveiled Thursday in the presence of HE Secretary General of the Foreign Ministry, Dr. Ahmed bin Hassan Al Hammadi, and HE Shim Jae-kwon, chairman of the South Korean parliament's Foreign Affairs and Unification Committee.

HE the State of Qatar's Ambassador to the Republic of Korea Mohammed Abdulla Al Duhaimi attended the ceremony along with HE Foreign Ministry's Asian Affairs Department Director Khalid Ibrahim Al Hamar.

Myongji University's Institute of Middle Eastern Affairs, in cooperation with the State of Qatar's embassy in South Korea, had translated the Qatari constitution to Korean.

The institute distributed copies of the translated document to Korean libraries and universities as a reference that can be used at Korean educational institutions, including Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, Chosun University, Sun Moon University as well as main research centers in South Korea.
