The State of Qatar has strongly condemned and denounced the car bombing that took place in Rushdi area of Egypt's city of Alexandrea, killing two people and wounding several others.

In a statement , the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar's firm stance rejecting violence and terrorism, regardless of motives and reasons.

The statement expressed Qatar's condolences to the families of the victims and to the brotherly people of Egypt, wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.
