HE President of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay Dr. Tabare Vazquez has met with HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Uruguay Mohammed bin Hassan Al Jaber, on the occasion of the end of his tenure in the country.

During the meeting, HE the Ambassador conveyed the greetings of HH the Amir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani to HE the President of Uruguay, wishing him the best of health and the Government and people of Uruguay further progress and prosperity.

For his part, HE the President of Uruguay entrusted HE the Ambassador to convey his greetings to HH the Amir, wishing him the best of health, and the State of Qatar continuous progress and prosperity.

The meeting also discussed the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries.
