El Salvador Awards Qatar's Acting Charge D'affaires Diplomatic Order of Merit

The Republic of El Salvador awarded the Diplomatic Order of Merit (the National Order of Jose Matias Delgado) to the Acting charge d'affaires at the State of Qatar's embassy to the Republic of El Salvador Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Horr in recognition of his efforts to promote relations between the State of Qatar and the Republic of El Salvador.

This took place when HE the Acting Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of El Salvador Carlos Casteneda met with the Acting charge d'affaires at the State of Qatar's embassy to the Republic of El Salvador Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Horr on the occasion of ending his tenure.

HE the Acting Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of El Salvador praised the bilateral relations between the two countries and the State of Qatar's positions in supporting the Republic of El Salvador, hailing the role of the Acting charge d'affaires in enhancing and strengthening relations between the two countries.

He stressed the depth of the relations between his country and the State of Qatar, expressing his aspiration to develop the relations with the State of Qatar in various political, economic and cultural fields. He noted that his country believes in the important role of the State of Qatar in the international arena.

He also pointed out that El Salvador awarded the Diplomatic Order of Merit to the Acting charge d'affaires at the State of Qatar's embassy to the Republic of El Salvador Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Horr in recognition of his diplomatic efforts and his efforts in enhancing the constructive and positive relations between Qatar and El Salvador.

For his part, the Acting charge d'affaires Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Horr expressed his thanks to HE the Acting Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of El Salvador and the Government of El Salvador for the great facilities he received that helped him in carrying out his duties in El Salvador, noting the Government of El Salvador's position in supporting the State of Qatar in the Gulf crisis.
