The State of Qatar condemned the bombing which targeted a checkpoint in Al Qa'im district of western Iraq, which led to the deaths and injuries.

In a statement on Wednesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar's firm position on rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of motives and reasons.

The statement expressed the condolences of the State of Qatar to the families of the victims and the government and people of Iraq, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
