HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani held a telephone conversation with HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Paraguay Luis Alberto Castiglioni.

During the call, the two sides reviewed the relations between the two countries and ways of boosting them, in addition to issues of common concern.

HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs praised, during the call, the recent decision taken by the Republic of Paraguay to relocate its embassy from the occupied city of Jerusalem and to restore the embassy to the situation that preceded the decision to transfer it to Jerusalem on May 9, 2018, terming this as an important corrective step in line with international law.

The two sides stressed the need to respect the UN institutions and Security Council resolutions as a reference framework for resolving the Palestinian cause.
