The State of Qatar expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the attack that targeted a local government building in Mogadishu, Somalia, and left a number of people killed and injured.

In a statement issued on Monday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm stance in rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of the motives and causes.

The statement expressed the State of Qatar's condolences to the families of victims as well as the government and people of Somalia, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
