The State of Qatar has strongly condemned the bomb explosion that took place in north Afghanistan's Faryab province and left a number of children dead and injured.

In a statement on Saturday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Qatar's firm position on rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of motives and reasons.

The statement expressed the condolences of the State of Qatar to the families of the victims and the government and people of the Afghanistan, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
