Ministry of Foreign Affairs Honors Winners of Qatar Alliance of Civilizations Award

HE Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr Ahmed bin Hassan Al Hammadi on Wednesday honored the students who won the Qatar Alliance of Civilizations Award in the presence of HE Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education Ibrahim bin Saleh Al Nuaimi, and the Secretary General of Qatar National Commission for Education, Culture and Science Dr Hamda Hassan Al Sulaiti.

HE the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs congratulated the winners of the award and noted that it is part of Qatar's efforts to promote the Alliance of Civilizations and its contribution to building peace and coexistence among multi-cultural and multi-ethnic societies and peoples.

HE Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education Ibrahim bin Saleh Al Nuaimi pointed to that Qatar's pioneering role in the creation of Qatar Committee for the Alliance of Civilization, noting that the students' participation in this award is a proof of their great awareness.

The student, Kawther Rashid Barkat of Aisha Bint Abi Bakr Secondary School won the first place, and the student Hamad Harbi Abdul Moneim of Ali Bin Jassim Secondary School came in the second place, and student Dhabia Khalid Al Hajri of Aisha Bint Abi Bakr Secondary School was in the third place.
