HE the Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the United Nations Organizations Ambassador Sultan bin Salmeen Al Mansouri met in Vienna with HE President, of the International Narcotics Control Board (INCB) , Cornelis P. de Joncheere.

During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations between the State of Qatar and the INCB, as well as issues of mutual interest.

The President of the International Narcotics Control Board expressed his appreciation for the cooperation with the State of Qatar, affirming the INCB readiness for further cooperation in the field of training and prevention, with a view to enhancing the implementation of international drug control conventions at the regional and international levels.

He noted the visit of a delegation from the INCB to the State of Qatar in October last year, and the success achieved to deepen relations between the two sides.

For his part, HE the Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar congratulated HE Cornelis P. de Joncheere on his election as President of the INCB, and expressed the desire of the State of Qatar to further strengthen cooperation with it in the future.
