HE President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of the sisterly Republic of Turkey met here on Saturday with HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani at the Huber Palace in Istanbul.

At the beginning of the meeting, HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs conveyed greetings of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al - Thani to HE the President of the Republic of Turkey and wishes of further progress and prosperity to the brotherly Turkish people.

For his part, HE the Turkish President entrusted HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs to convey his greetings to HH the Amir and best wishes for the Qatari people of more development and progress.

During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations and a number of issues of mutual interest.
