HE President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Ashraf Ghani met on Sunday with HE Special Envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Counterterrorism and Mediation in Conflict Resolution Dr. Mutlaq bin Majed Al Qahtani, who is currently visiting Afghanistan.

During the meeting, they reviewed the bilateral cooperation; the peace talks between the United States and Taliban in Doha; the de-escalation agreement; the signing on an agreement to end the war in Afghanistan at the end of the month; the intra-Afghan negotiations and the exchange of prisoners between the two sides; in addition to issues of mutual concern.
