The State of Qatar, represented by the Human Rights Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, celebrated the International Human Rights Day, which falls on Dec. 10 of each year, the day adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in 1948 for the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani said that the meeting of the 7th session of the Supreme Strategic Committee between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Turkey, chaired by HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, and HE President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, will witness the signing of 14 new agreements, in addition to 80 previous agreements between the two countries

HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, sent Monday a written message to HH the Amir of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, pertaining to bilateral relations and ways to support and develop them.

The Ministerial Preparatory Meeting of the 7th Session of the Supreme Strategic Committee between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Turkey, which will be held tomorrow under the chairmanship of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, and HE President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, began on Monday in Doha.
