HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani underlined the strength of bilateral relations between the State of Qatar and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, pointing out that the two countries have a common vision for a stable and prosperous Afghanistan as soon as possible.

HE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi handed over the presidency of the Arab League Council at the ministerial level to HE Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Ahmed Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah, during the launching of the 156th session of the Arab League Council on Thursday at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Arab League.

HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani met separately on Thursday in Islamabad with HE Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi and HE Chief of Army Staff of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan General Qamar Javed Bajwa.

HE Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Imran Khan met in Islamabad on Thursday with HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani.

HE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi chaired a consultative meeting of Arab foreign ministers at the headquarters of the Arab League's General Secretariat ahead of the start of the 156th session of the ministerial-level meeting of the Arab League Council.

HE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi participated in the meeting of the Arab Ministerial Committee on taking actions to stop Israeli measures in Jerusalem, which was held on Thursday at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Arab League, under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Jordan Ayman Al Safadi, as his country chairs the committee.

HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani participated in the high-level event to celebrate the International Day to Protect Education from Attack, which comes on Sept. 9 of each year. The event was organized by Education Above All, the State of Qatar's permanent delegation to the United Nations, UNICEF, UNESCO, and the Special Representative for Children and Armed Conflict at the level of Under-Secretary-General.

HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani met on Thursday in Tehran with HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Dr. Hossein Amir Abdollahian.

HE Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Ahmad bin Hassan Al Hammadi met with HE Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Integration, International Cooperation and Chadians Abroad of the Republic of Chad Mahamat Zene Cherif, who is currently visiting the country.

HE the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Ahmed bin Hassan Al Hammadi received separately on Thursday copies of the credentials of each of HE Ambassador of the Republic of Chad Dr. Ali Susal Ibrahim, and HE Ambassador of the Republic of El Salvador to the State Milton Alcides Magana Herrera.
